1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you contact us, request a proposal, or become a client, we may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and any information you include in your communications with us.
Client advertising data
When you engage Surgo to manage your advertising, we access campaign performance data from your advertising accounts (for example, Google Ads) that you have authorized us to manage. This includes read-only reporting metrics such as cost, clicks, impressions, and conversions for accounts linked to our manager account. We use this data solely to prepare and display performance reports for you.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring URLs. This may be collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and improve our Services and the Site.
- To retrieve and display advertising performance reports for our clients.
- To respond to inquiries and communicate with you about your account or projects.
- To send administrative information, and (where permitted) relevant marketing communications.
- To maintain the security and integrity of our systems.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Google API Services and Limited Use
Our reporting tools access Google Ads data through the Google Ads API on a read-only basis, limited to accounts that clients have linked to our manager account. Surgo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for any purpose other than providing the reporting Services described in this policy, and we do not sell Google user data.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: With trusted third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, and reporting infrastructure), under confidentiality obligations and only as needed to perform those services.
- Advertising platforms: With platforms such as Google, as necessary to operate and report on the advertising services you have authorized.
- Legal and safety: When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Surgo, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. How We Protect Your Information
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Data transmitted to and from advertising APIs is encrypted in transit using TLS, and API credentials are stored as encrypted server-side secrets accessible only to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information and reporting data for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain historical reporting, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
